Best. Place. Ever!! Let’s talk about service. My family and I come here every time we are in Roma. Irina welcomes everyone with a smile, makes recommendations and we always have great conversation. She and the entire staff make this more than just a meal. It’s an experience. Keep it up!

There were two of us and we were really hungry. We ordered two pasta dishes and a pizza to share. Everything was not only filling but also very tasty, and the service was quick. Highly recommended!

My first visit to this restaurant was years ago during my wife’s first trip to Italy. We sat by the window, gazing at Basilica Santa Maria Maggiore, enjoying our first dinner date in the country together. It instantly became our favorite spot. Now, owning a place here and traveling between the States, we still dine here multiple times a week. We feel like locals. To American tourists asking, “Is it a tourist restaurant?” Yes, it is. Does that mean the food is subpar? Absolutely not. Not all tourist spots are rip-offs or low quality—ignore the social media noise. I could go on about the consistently incredible food and how we’ve never had a bad meal, but you need to experience it yourself. Great food alone isn’t enough if the vibe, staff, and atmosphere fall short, but this place excels in all. The staff here is exceptional—Khaled (not DJ Khaled), the ever-smiling Mila and Julia, and the always helpful and witty Irina make every visit unforgettable. Can't forget Renato (thanks for getting 6 of us in 30 min before closing) All in all.. On your visit to the Basilica walk over to Casa Maria, meet the staff, have some amazing wine and food, enjoy the times.. Let them know the Texans Dennis & Kimberly sent ya

We visited Casa Maria this past November and ended up coming back four times during our trip—that’s how much we loved it! The food was consistently amazing, with fresh, flavorful dishes that truly stood out. What made it even better was the incredibly friendly staff—everyone was so welcoming and kind, which made us feel right at home. Casa Maria became our go-to place in Rome, and we’ll absolutely return the next time we’re in the city. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and a warm, authentic atmosphere!

Absolutely amazing restaurant!! We ate here everyday and did not bother eating at other restaurants once we discovered this one because of how amazing it is. Food is delicious, vibes and atmosphere are immaculate, the staff is super friendly and very kind. Prices are very good and portions are pretty big. Also their french fries were chefs kiss. You will not regret going here!!! Highly, highly recommend.

I went to Casa Maria with my girlfriend and it was one of those evenings when food and vibe kind of mix good, not perfect but good. The pasta I had was fresh, or at least it felt fresh, handmade I think, maybe I repeat myself but it really had flavor. She took a pizza with thin crust, came hot from oven, simple but nice, I liked more than I expected. The location is close to many streets and we walked around after, I already said that but I say it again, it was nice to walk after dinner. Inside was cozy, rustic maybe, people talking but not too loud, sometimes I even forgot there were other tables. Prices not the cheapest, maybe I complain a bit, but for the quality I guess it’s fair, fair enough. The service was relaxed, nobody hurry us, the waiter told us about a glass of local wine, I forgot the name, but it matched pasta very good. We left satisfied, or at least I was, and we think we would come back again… well maybe not soon but one day.
